I've just found out i'm 6 weeks pregnant & I can't get a doctors appointment for 2 weeks. This is completely unplanned & I don't know what to do. My partner is aware & he is equally as shocked. I don't want to continue this pregnancy, will doctors be able to get me in sooner to discuss abortion options?

There are other ways to access abortion treatment:
Firstly, you can directly contact the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), Marie Stopes UK or the National Unplanned Pregnancy Advisory Service. These organisations are abortion providers and can advise you about options in your area. I am unsure whether these have restrictions on ages (if you're over 18 then you won't have to worry about them).
You can also visit a family planning or sexual health clinic in your area. Some of these have drop in sessions and you don't require an appointment to see somebody who can refer you for the treatment.
It is likely that you will also be prescribed a contraceptive after you have an abortion such as the pill or the contraceptive injection to prevent any more unplanned pregnancies.
My pregnancy was completely unplanned so I can sympathise with how much of a shock it is. Hope you're okay hun, all the best x
Sorry to hear you are feeling rather shocked. In most areas you don't need to see your GP before you can have a consultation with an abortion provider. nhs.uk/Service-Search/Pregn... this is a postcode service finder from NHS choices (with is a completely unbiased service), and a very useful tool. Then you can make yourself an appointment for a consultation, which will be much quicker for you. As you are still early in the pregnancy, it means you should have access to more types of treatment. bpas.org/ this is the link to our website which also has our phone number, so if you feel it's appropriate for you please call us. Hope you get the outcome you need.
