It'been a week since it happened? When can I use pregnancy test? I can't be pregnant. He pulls out before he came but still I'm worried I should be having my period this week but still no sign. I'm freaking worried. What should I do?

Hi There,

A pregnancy test is accurate 3 weeks after last sex, or if a period is later, shorter, lighter or doesn't come at all. The withdrawal method that you have used is around 78% effective, as some sperm can leak out before ejaculation. You could attend your local contraceptive clinic, that way they can chat through your dates, and if they feel it's the right time they can do the PT with you. If it's negative they could also then chat through a more reliable contraceptive so you wouldn't be so worried in the future.

Best Wishes

Katherine
