Irregular period

I'm 16 and haven't had my period for nearly 2 months after having sex the day after I finished my last period, me and my partner didn't use contraception but I got the emergency morning pill straight after? What does this mean? Am I pregnant or just having a late period?

Hi there

Sometimes when you take emergency contraception it can delay your period. I would suggest taking a pregnancy test to be sure. Try not to worry too much. It might be an idea to pop to your local young persons sexual health clinic and take a test with them.

Best wishes

Katherine
