Hi there

You will still be covered as you were not more than 24 hours late taking it, and you only were a bit late with one pill. As long as you never make your 7 day break longer (ie if you miss/or are late with) any pills in your last week or last 7 pills, then you would be covered. This is some simple guidance to help in the future:

•If it is reasonably certain that the woman is not pregnant, COCs (combined pills)can be initiated on any day of the menstrual cycle (additional contraceptive precautions are required if started after day 5).

•If 1 active pill is missed, no additional precautions are needed.

•If 2 active pills are missed (or a new pack is started 2 days late), additional precautions should be taken for 7 days.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
