I maybe being stupid here When I was at the midwife earlier today she done a urine sample and said my ph was high. What exactly is ph? Isnt it bad to be high? I've googled and not found much.

Hi there

It just meant your urine was more acidic, the main thing they check for is increased protein in your pee, which is what she would be more concerned about. Try not to worry, as I’m sure if she was concerned she would have told you.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
