Little worried

I'm 22 weeks pregnant, at my 20 week scan I was told I had a low lying placenta, I'm not sure if this is the reason for my pain, but I've been experiencing sharp pains in my lower abdoman and into my pubic area, it hurts to cough, sneeze, walk, what could this be ?! Should I be worried, its really quite painful.. Tia xx

Hi there

I think it would be a good idea for you to go and see your GP or midwife as soon as you can so they can properly assess what is going on. If you are really worried or if the pain is getting worse it might be an idea to pop to A+E when you can.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
