Pregnancy symptoms

Hi,

I have just found out I am pregnant. At the moment I am experiencing on and off period like pains. These are quite sharp, just wondering if these are normal?

Hi there,

Period like cramps are very common in early pregnancy, due to the effect of the hormones on the ligaments so there's most probably nothing to be worried about. However, if the cramps become unmanageable or if there's is any bleeding then do get in touch with your GP or midwife.
