Pregnant?

Hello im 16 nearly 17 years old and i had sex with my boyfriend on the 4 th of march and was due to come on my period on the 8th however im late and havent come on! Ive taken two pregnancy tests however one of them said negative and one said invalid! Could there be a chance of me being pregnant but being too early to show? Please help

I definitely think it's too early for you to show. It can take more than two weeks for enough of the pregnancy hormone to build up in your body to be detected. Maybe take another test next week to double check. You should consider going to a sexual health clinic or GP if you're feeling very anxious about this, but try not to stress too much as it stress may be the cause of you missing your period.

Unfortunately you are too early to test, you need to wait until 3 weeks after the unprotected sex to test, so that would be the 25th March, next Wednesday. You can get tests for free from your GP or local contraceptive and sexual health clinic (you can find your nearest one here fpa.org.uk/find-a-clinic ). Although you can also buy them from pharmacies, supermarkets and even pound shops.

If you don't want to be pregnant I would also suggest starting some form of contraception which you can also get from your GP or local contraceptive and sexual health clinic.

Yes you might be pregnant , you should wait one week and take another pregnancy test.
