I had an abortion a week ago and I was just wondering when it's ok to start having see again. Me and my partner desperately want a baby And we regret the abortion immensely. I keep bleeding on and off but it seems to be stopping. I had a surgical abortion. Please helphelp. Thank you

It is recommended that you should wait for 2 weeks after you have had an abortion before you have sex, and ideally you would wait until after you get your period. But you can have sex after two weeks. Does that sound okay?

I am really sorry that you regret your abortion, having those feelings directly after you've had an abortion are normal but if you do continue to feel like this it might be a good idea to get some counselling so you can talk about the abortion and how it is making you feel.
