Need a baby
Hi there,
Unfortunately sometimes it can take a little while longer than we would like to conceive, but it might help to know that the vast majority of couples will conceive within one year of trying. Given that you have been for a medical check and everything is fine, the best thing to do is try to relax, stay healthy and have regular sex. If you haven't conceived after one year of trying, or less time if you are over 35 or have had problems e.g. ectopic pregnancy in the past, then you should go back to your GPs. In the meantime do try not to panic, and make sure you are taking folic acid, which is an important supplement for the healthy development of your baby.
