This month I was doing my ovulation test and on the third day (first peak day) I start to bleed it wasn't normal like my regular menstrual cycle flow it was lighter then normal on the first day. And the next day (my 2nd peak day) it was a even lighter flow. And today its only a spot when i clean myself after going to the bathroom. But here's the big thing that puzzles me I thought if your ovulating you won't be on your menstrual cycle... so what could this be???

Hi Kimberley,
Just to double check - have you taken four pregnancy tests which have all been positive? If so, it is highly likely that you are pregnant and you should go to your GPs as soon as possible to discuss your options and care going forward.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Katherine
Yes we are wait in 3 moths we go gp am put Wight on 7 pond in week or so tho first time done in long time and I feel sick and keep needing toilet tho am still eating same will ring up docs in March so gives it time to grow
Hi Kimberley,
Are you waiting 3 months before you go to the GP? If so, there is no need to wait and in fact it is better to go as soon as possible to get the care that you and your baby might need and ensure you get essential checks. You should also start taking folic acid now to support the healthy development of your baby.
I hope this helps. As I said, it is really important you seek a medical appointment as soon as possible - this would be best for you and your baby. You don't need to give the baby time to grow before speaking to your doctor.
Best wishes,
Katherine
Hi Howell,
It could be that the ovulation tests were not accurate, but some women do experience ovulation bleeding. However, if a bleed at this point during your cycle is unusual for you, you should pop down to your local sexual health /contraceptive clinic or GPs to have a chat about it and check there isn't anything else going on that might have caused the bleed.
Just in case this is of use, the NHS have a guide to ovulation and pregancy online here: nhs.uk/chq/Pages/829.aspx?C...
If you are currently trying to conceive, you should start taking folic acid. It is a very important pregnancy supplement that supports the healthy development of your baby and should be taken before you fall pregnant if possible.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Katherine
