pregnancy
Hi there,
I just thought I would post here too in case you don't see that I've replied to your message:
Yes, while there are certain points in your cycle when it is extremely unlikely that you could conceive, it is always possible. If your period is late, you should take a pregnancy test. If the test is negative but your period still doesn’t arrive, wait 4 days and then take another test. If this result is negative, it might be best to pop down to see your GP to discuss your dates and they can also check if there is anything else that is affecting your period. If you were fully breastfeeding, that can act as a very effective method of contraception, but you must be feeding very regularly and not supplementing feeds. We have more information about contraception after you’ve had a baby on our website here which might be of use: bpas.org/js/filemanager/fil...
I hope this helps. Just let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Best wishes,
Katherine
