Have "buggered chest" from mixture of Pectus Carinatum and long term epileptic seizures, nasty mixture, but heart okay, breathing painful!

I know I have mentioned this before on this site, but mid sternum [lot of damage] hurts like hell! Other than tiger balm, smells good, movement is restricted, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Could an osteopath maybe help? They can do allsorts inc. give you exercises etc that may help. Does heat or ice pax help atall? I get rib spasms and they are agony, I massage and use Ibuleve and take a Tramadol ( already on Fentanyl patches 12 mcg), maybe try a muscle relaxant ? - I use beer! 😁 Hope you find something that helps. 🤞

They are a rare breed over here, very hard to get hold of, NHS in general worst mess in UK in N. Ireland! My centre rib cage is 'tender' I have high pain threshold where signals from the brain to the body are all mixed up, pain killers don't work, my useless ex GP just kept prescribing me pain killers, he did not diagnose the source, that was for another condition, thus the result here🙄 for my whole body! My deformed rib cage is "buggered" as my local health centre calls me [in good humour👌] fragile, presently the sternum 'stings', my lungs are affected, BUT my heart almost oblivious, goes on its merry way😵 as normal! I do find the tiger balm is best, just smoothed over the 'area'! Too much exercise can rile it up, best thing is just to sit down until it decreases, its such a mess normal set exercises are more trouble than anything! I am glad I am retired, but do so wish I could get out just for a short while? Thanks fraid 👌
