antibiotics and osteoporosis

I am on antibiotics for a stress throat infection, do they make osteoporosis worse.

I haven’t a clue radars but I’ve had several courses of antibiotics over the last year for UTIs and diverticulitis and I’m still in one piece 🤞I figure it’s probably better for your body not to have to deal with a massive infection.

Are you taking pro biotics along with your antibiotics? I always do that to try to help my gut.

thanks I have just been diagnosed with strep throat infection really painful in agony swallowing oral solution of penicillin from gp and throat spray, haven't had any food for a week no appetite and now only just managing to drink some water which is also painful, don't know how I picked this infection up,I have got some antibiotics.

Poor you - that sounds horrible. Sounds like you definitely need those antibiotics. You are probably too poorly to want to bother but is there any chance of someone making you some nice home made chicken broth? I say chicken but it turns out my son loves tomato soup when he is feeling poorly ( no idea why as it wasn’t something he ever got when he lived at home).

yeah thanks rest up for 10 days till I finish the oral penicillin.
