which links SARS-CoV-2 infection to increased osteoclast activity and consequently increased risk of osteoporosis.
(Also, please note this info about the production of the article, a statement near the beginning: "This is one of many articles evaluating the utility of using AI to write scientific review articles on musculoskeletal topics [1]. The first draft of this review was written by humans and ChatGPT4.0 whereby humans selected literature references, but ChatGPT 4.0 completed the writing. Importantly, the article was edited and carefully checked for accuracy resulting in a final manuscript which was significantly different from the original draft. Refer to this edition’s Comment paper for more information")

Thanks for posting this, HeronNS. I've not read it closely. The effect on bones from muscle weakness and decreased loading during prolonged illness seems obvious, but this article highlights the complexity of bone metabolism, and is further argument for avoiding Covid. The increased incidence of vertebral fractures is certainly a concern. The use of ChatGPT is an 'interesting' aspect.
With respect, Astra-Zeneca is not an mRNA vaccine. Moderna was renamed Spikevax.
The point of my post is not to promote (or otherwise) vaccination, but to bring attention to some research which determined that a SARS-CoV-2 infection can cause increased risk of developing osteoporosis. Just something that people should be aware of so that they can take steps to protect their bone density.
i had probable covid over a year ago, and no injections prior, yeh not fun (great sleep though!) can you see how the injections may have made you sick, or at least did not help.;
i'm on a carbimazole (for hyper).
i read that drugs for hypothyroidism are harsh on bones,
but of synthroid and the natural (pig's), synthroid is more consistent;
pig's thyroid may be treated as a foreign body by our immune system, that then comes across as autoimmune flare but is simply foreign material and variable.
ah yeh looks like i got the mrna mixed you with az, which was renamed something else. vaers usa will show the damage and death the injections have caused,
my point was that the injections cause covid symptoms which are then put in the covid column instead of ill-effects column,
The test can detect different viral strains in the single sample. You aren't likely to be sick with more than one at a time, but with confusing initial similar symptoms this test can tell you if you have one of the diseases and if so which one. I think it's pretty clever of the scientists to have figured out how to combine the tests into such a convenient package, although I've only seen them in pictures. We are still able to get free covid test kits.
I don't know how these things work but I'd have assumed the antigens are different which is why a positive line will show up in a particular part of a combo test depending which disease a sick person has, and the other parts show negative. If they were all the same there'd be no point in the test. They've designed the test to be able to detect antigens of more than one disease.
