zoledronic acid and afib
Radars, I think you really need to see your doctor to find out why you’re getting these symptoms or call 111 and speak to someone tonight and ask what they think. Are you getting chest or other pains as well?
I have been to see gp this evening, on Monday I am going for a chest x-ray, and a full blood count. and then on Wednesday I am having a ecg and giving a urine sample, I mentioned zoledronic acid and she said I don't think it will be that.
I’m glad you’re being sorted out. It must be very worrying for you. Try and have a relaxing weekend if you can - easy for someone else to say that isn’t it and of you feel really bad remember you can still call 111 for advice. In the meantime rest and look after yourself.
I’m glad you’ve been seen by your GP and now have a plan of action so you can move forward. Keep us updated.
hope you are doing ok, keep us posted next week after your tests. Good luck and take care 🤗
My GP said heart palpitations are common with Fosamax. I know that's not what you're taking but it's still a bisohosphonate, right? When I googled it, lo, Dr Google informed me that 86% of women in a study of 700 developed an irregular heartbeat. Though "rarely fatal", we're assured, it could lead to congestive heart failure. I was a little miffed; it's not a side effect that I've ever heard mentioned. I already have PVCs, definitely don't need to add fuel to that fire, but (sigh) my back is so bad, I started taking fosamax again. (I was prescribed Evenity but insurance denied it.) Hope yours are nothing, but...I think your doctor might be wrong in saying it's not connected to your OP med.
