Calcium

I was given Calceous to take for my bones but my recent blood test shows that I have calcification in blood - which my doctor decided I should be referred to cardiologist ! I had blocked artery about ten years ago and had 3 stents put in one artery - but have been clear ever since - so looks like treating one problem has caused another !! Why do doctors treat the symptoms and not the person as a whole ?

So sorry to hear that treatment for one problem has led to another. I've read evidence that if you take Vit K2 it not only helps prevent this from happening but can also help to clear blood calcification. I don't know if the latter is true, but there's quite a lot of evidence for the former. If you have existing health issues you should probably check with your GP, although he probably won't have heard of it. It isn't the same as Vit K1.

Thank you for that have added it to my shopping list - I knew I had read somewhere the K vitamin was good but did not know if there was more than one type x

It needs to be K2-MK7 or K2-MK4.
