Why am I still hoarse five days after hospital discharge?

I was recently admitted to hospital for four days for possible infection. I was discharged five days ago on broad-spectrum antibiotics. On discharge I sounded hoarse as my voice was muffled. My family and I thought might be from increased fentanyl patch/over sedation and thus lowered dose of patch. Helpful initially yet voice still not loud and clear.

Any thoughts/similar experience?

hi, I am not sure if you are on any treatment but I found that various treatment options gave me a hoarse voice and I still have it even after treatment was over.

My husband’s voice was hoarse after his first treatment and didn’t improve. I’m sure it’s was because of his treatment.
