Hi everyone. I'm still tired today but it's worth it. I was lucky enough not only to get to attend the San Antonio Liver Cancer Symposium but also to be a speaker! I was Blessed to be able to share Jimmy's story. Thank you so much Andrea for making this happen. So I got to listen to and even met some of the best doctors working with HCC, transplantation, and other liver issues. I also got to hang out with my good friend Andrea for three days. I so enjoy spending time with her. Thank you Andrea for not only making the opportunity happen but also for the help, encouragement, support, and honest feedback during our "practice sessions". You are truly such an amazing lady and I love you 💕. I'm planning to do another post regarding some of the things I l learned at the conference.

That must have been a great time for you. Hanging out with Andrea and hearing the latest updates concerning HCC would make for a worthwhile experience.

It was a great opportunity. It was really cool getting to listen to individuals that are so respected in their field and even meet a few. Also sharing Jimmy's story and keeping my promise to him to keep that wheel squeaking. 😂 We were talking about things that need to be done (besides finding a cure) like raising awareness of the disease, making sure the problems getting diagnosed and getting treatment are heard , etc. I said that everyone needs to speak up and out because the squeaky wheel gets the grease. He replied that HCC, it's diagnosis and treatment needs a LOT of grease. So I'm doing my part to keep it squeaking. Hopefully one day it will be recognized that there's a big difference between diagnosis and treatment in a perfect world ( the way it should be) and actual reality that lots of patients and caregivers experience. ❤️Plus I really love Andrea and consider her a friend so hanging out is fun. Mostly we just Zoom, text and email since we live on different states. So anytime I can see her in person is very appreciated. ❤️

You are so sweet! Thank you. Your presentation was incredible and with your permission, I'll post it on Blue Faery's YouTube channel. Plus, I'm going to make my team watch it. They'll learn a lot.

💙Andrea
