Angiogenesis is the process of the formation of new blood vessels that is vital in the healing of wounds, for example. But it is also the process of cancer tumours and not just in the liver of developing a network of blood vessels they need for a steady supply of the nutrients necessary for turning from a benign into a malignant tumour and to grow.

Anti-angiogenic therapies of inhibitors and cytotoxic chemotherapy are supposed to prevent and reverse this network of tumours. Unfortunately all presently approved angiogenesis inhibitor medications have severe side effects such as liver and kidney malfunction and gastrointestinal perforation. As an alternative to medical treatment, it is recommended to switch to anti-angiogenic foods rich in vitamin E including olive oil, green leafy vegetables, walnuts, pine nuts, citrus fruits, red grapes, berries, and cut back on carbohydrates.

You can learn more about anti-angiogenic therapies in the book "Lifeline - The Case for Effective Cancer Immunotherapy" by T.S. Aguilar. It is recommended by the reviewers for anyone who wants to learn more about the present and future state of cancer treatment.

Wow! Thank you. Did you happen to see my picture of my hand? That seems to be Angiogenesis to you?

No, I have not seen the picture of your hand and I would refrain from a diagnosis on the strength of a picture. May I advise you to consult a medical practitioner you trust in this matter. I hope for the best outcome for you!

The picture was of my own hand and concerns. It seems alot of people are not very knowledgeable about this process and its very scary as I go through this alone. :(

You are correct that there are not a lot of people knowledgable about angiogenesis. You should have your hand examined for any sign of cancer. If it is not related to cancer than the angiogenesis will be part of a healing process, which you should welcome. Remember that angiogenesis only related to cancer tumours is deadly, related to any other function it will help to heal what ails you. Okay?

That is my main concern. The idea of a possible tumor. I have lost so much weight and its challenging with no sure answers

All the more reason to have yourself examined for cancer tumours. The earlier it is detected, the better are the chances to treat it with some success.

Please, don't be afraid. Put your best foot forward, step out with some courage and be certain of any actual medical problem.

I am in the US and have several blood test and my CA125 is elevated yet no true diagnosis as of yet. Everyday my body feels like it no longer belongs to me. This has been a 3 month battle with no end in sight. Do you recommend any particular kind of testing to request?

A proper diagnosis will be based on a battery of tests starting with a blood test and going as far as a CT scan. You will have to insist that every step of the procedure will be explained to you in terms you can understand, not in medical shoptalk. That's why it is so important for you to consult a medical practitioner you trust.

Sorry about the delay answering your latest comment.

Be advised that a doctor - patient relationship is first and foremost based on trust. If you don't trust the medical practitioners in whose care you are, you have to ask for a referral. Finding another medical practitioner you can and will trust could a bit of a lengthy process but you have to go through with it. I refer you once more to the book "Lifeline - The Case for Effective Cancer Immunotherapy" that contains a detailed list of questions to ask your doctor that will help you to establish trust.

Do you know the tale tale signs of liver cancer? Or they vary largely from person to person? Not having a diagnosis is driving me insane:(. Not sure if I should keep trying I am so tired physically and mentally.

I don't know all the telltale signs of liver cancer. Often it is related to cirrhosis or hepatitis. When that isn't the case than quite often it is indicated by a sudden case of jaundice. But I would rely on a proper diagnosis.

Thank you . Just not sure why they haven't been able to pick up anything on me yet. This is insane for sure. Trying not to stress is the absolute hardest for sure! As I know this helps nothing. Any other general advice aside from the book Lifeline?

Petscan. Very simple test. You drink mixed sugar fluid. If you have cancer you light up like a christmas tree. cancer loves sugar. Cut it out of your life.
