Just wanted to report that my Deb Tace procedure was rough....chemo messed up thinking...body...hair loss...increased depression it was March 19..struggling still

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling. It's completely normal to experience depression in a situation like this, I don't think it affects anyone lightly.

I am not familiar with this particular procedure, but I am infinitely familiar with depression. I noticed your username of Shakyamuni .. are you Buddhist? No worries if you're not, just curious because I am and the name jumped out at me.

HI I studied Buddhism for a while...depression getting worse as time goes on...do you take meds? thanks for replying

ohhh - I’m sorry to hear of your struggles. That sucks. From our experience with TACE it will pass. My husband’s TACE treatments didn’t make him lose his hair but definitely depression as a result of this disease and treatment affects and is taking Remeron - antidepressant that has helped a ton. I hope you have a doctor that is helping you through the symptoms? Was the TACE successful at killing the tumors?

I tried Remeron but could not take it Don't know what to do anymore I am so sensitive to all meds....thanks for sharing
