Been on bisoprolol for some years now in conjunction with other drugs and bp well under control and no annoying side effects

Yes, I’ve just managed to wean myself off bisoprolol 2.5mg. I was given it for prem ventricular contractions in addition to my bp med. (lercanidipine). It did not help pvc at all, but worse, it lowered my pulse rate to low 40’s and made me feel like a zombie. Dr told me to halve the dose, but pvc’s were getting very bad so decided to get myself off this awful (for me) drug. It took weeks to finally wean myself off, as rapid pounding heartbeat is a side effect of coming off too fast. Finally done it, and pvc’s are better without it. Guess I will just have to put up with those.

Been on it for 18 months now. Small patch of dry skin on my back for first 2 months then it cleared up. No problems since then.

Cold hands is the only side effect. It has worth it as really helped lower my blood pressure.

Hi, I have had 5 years of problems with BP meds, which is still ongoing. Due to my intolerance of blood pressure medications. For me the drug that took down my HBP and anxiety was Bisprolol, sadly I am unable to take it because it affects my breathing badly.

Hi If I could continue to take Bisoprolol it would be an answer to my problems, because it takes my BP down and also controls my anxiety. Sadly It affects my breathing.
