I don’t know how many people read these posts, twinkle, and of those that do what proportion have any knowledge of different brands of the medication you mention. You might get some information from your pharmacist or from the specialist charity Blood Pressure UK, if no-one here responds to you.

I don't take felodipine, but I do take the Teva brand of my BP meds and it suits me okay. Other brands give me worse side effects.

Check with the pharmacist who supplied the medicine. The brand name would contain the same drug your doctor had prescribed. Sometimes pharmacies dispense a different brand because of supply availability.

Should you have any problems with the medicine ask your pharmacist if the one you took previously could be dispensed.

Pharmacists are really helpful, my husband found the shape of his BP medicine really hard to swallow, they found another brand which was fine.

That’s the brand I’m on, 10mgs, and haven’t encountered any problems
