few months ago my blood pressure was going up all the time and was going over 206 and my doctor i saw changed it to two different ones. But on the following week was up again and i ended up with my right side could not feel it and and my speak went and my daughter's call 111 and was on the phone to them as thats what our doctor said to do and when they got through to out of hours they said they need to call 999 and ambulance came with 15 minutes and they were at my house for over a hour and blood pressure still would not go and and they phoned hospital and said i need to go in right away. I am near to heartlands hospital but they took me to.QE as heartlands was packed out. By the time i had a scan was over 3 hours as took the ambulance man 45 minutes from where i live. But i must say QE was a good hospital was in there over one week and said it was a min stoke i am now on walking stick. And one more xray on Friday because i suffer from bronchiectasis also and got a lung infections going to have a neck scan in few weeks and waiting for one more head scan. I am on 4 more new tablets and two stronger ones for my pain. As right side still car't walk good. They said do not know how long it would be like this for or if it will ever get better. But i am glad for the treatment i had at QE. As anyone else ever suffered this way. I am on blood pressure tablets and blood thinning one for my stoke as i had 3 min ones over 10 years ago.
