Hi, Does anyone else suffer with breathlessness on their BP medication. I have been on several BP medications for many years and the last few I have noticed I get bit breathless on exercise or effort. I was started on a Beta Blocker back in the early summer and since then it seems to have worsened. Any thoughts.

In your position I’d chat with my pharmacist. They are the real experts on drug interactions and side effects

Hello Port01, u appear to have a complex cardiac history , if I were u I would contact the BHF and speak with a cardiac nurse. They are very experienced at complex medication regimes and hopefully can help. I have inherited Hypertension and the other members of my family have only experienced breathlessness before they required a stent. Following the stent hale & hearty. 🍀😊

Hi port01 I am on beta blockers for a diastolic dysfunction as well as losartan for high blood pressure, I am breathless most of the time too but getting in to see a doctor is impossible, my brother was rushed to hospital and needed a stent so I'm thinking I could be the same
