Amlodipine and Peripheral Neuropathy

I have been on 10mg amlodipine for about 10 years. Bp is great/controlled. I have the usual side effect of swollen feet/ankles, and am used to it. In the last several years I developed peripheral bilateral neuropathy on the bottoms of my feet - no pain, just loss of feeling.

Questions: could this be a side effect from amlodipine?

Will using a TENS unit on my feet help restore feeling?

Any other comments, suggestions?

I really feel that this is a question only your GP can answer James as we're not medically trained on this forum. Good luck. x
