Great news that you have got your blood pressure down. Well done!
I would say that whilst elevated, it was not dangerously high to start with and that a combination of lifestyle changes and medication have got it down to a significantly improved level.
I think you should now have a chat with your GP. Maybe it may be safe to reduce or even stop your medication if you can continue to implement the lifestyle changes that are obviously having a positive impact on your health.
But obviously now it has been picked up that you are prone to high blood pressure, whilst you may not need meds it is also a condition that is going to need continued and regular monitoring from now on.
The inescapable fact is that as we age BP and cholesterol can become a recurring issue for many of us.
But in your case you have done the right thing by getting the issue diagnosed before it becomes a serious problem and while you are still young enough to do something about it.
All the best!👍👏👏👏
Victorr457, congratulations on getting your bp down. Have a look at Blood Pressure UK site for information. And I agree with everything Ropa says
If i continue doing everything doctor told me and my bp drops down to normal level does it mean i am completely cured
