High blood pressure and silent reflux

Can anyone tell me who suffers from reflux what meds they take to help them... my dr put me on a calcium channel blocker (Amlodipine) 5mg and it has made my reflux worse ... he’s given me Lansoprazole for it but it’s not improving .... should I even of been given this med with reflux since it aggravates it? I’m also on Lisinopril 5mg

I think I’d ask my doc to try other BP meds, sticking with the Lansoprazole though

I’ve tried a few with not much luck but I’m not happy being on this as the reflux can be bad anyway ... I speak to him Wednesday see what he suggests maybe try diegetic again

Lansoprazole is now considered dangerous...My surgery even has this news up on its web site very clearly....Also once you are on them it can be very painful coming off them.... I had to wean myself off them by cutting open the capsules and reducing.... When I got down as far as I could I changed medical surgery and went for help with another doctor... She was up to date on the latest info on these and appreciated my hard efforts...

There are so many ;paint by numbers; GP's out there. There are so many opinions my advice if you come across a brick wall just change doctor or Surgery...

I think we should all become floating patients now...lol... Even when you have been with one surgery for a long time they still know nothing about you ..learn nothing about you because they are all too run off their feet with thousands and thousands more extra patients over the last ten year.... I dont rely on them ..I rely on myself these days... and I move on to another that matches my researches..
