My blood pressure last month before medication. Taken lying down in my right arm. Anyone else have pressures like mine?

Almost the same with mine, the difference i have medication and jogging evening and morning plus low carb low fat no processed foods, low sodium burt still 200/120

Mine was like that, I was on medication but they have now changed it and added even more! This morning, it was 123/83

I take another drug at 14.30 every day, which appears to keep it in check.

I have had to take Prednisolone daily since about 2012, which may well be the cause of my excessively high blood pressure

If I am reading the monitor correctly, your systolic is 256, diastolic, 153 which leaves pulse at 152. so, since the pulse is above the 60--100 b.p.m. are you also investigating ,which I would believe, to be arrhythmia?

There huge numbers. Do you get symptoms for numbers that high ? You look muscular . Weight lifting obviously can cause huge spikes in BP. Also do you take any hormones as that can have a massive affect on blood pressure levels.

I get numbers higher, confirmed on tilt table and repeated active standing tests and anytime when I stand for more than about 10 minutes. Sometimes just when I get noradrenaline or adrenaline surges just sitting down for too long or sleeping. But I have Hyperadrenergic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and my sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system is dysfunctional. Bisoprolol has brought the tachycardia side/arrythmias under control, taken the top off the BP surges, but BP can still fly.

It's never good, it causes damage, even when you can get it down yourself.

Not what you're looking for?
