I ASM REALLY CONCERNED HERE ...I AM HAVING SURGERY ON FRIDAO SEE IF WE CAN GET TY THE 13TH AND WILL BE A 3 HR. SURGERY. MY BIGGEST FEAR NOW IS MY COUGHING UP FLUID AS I DO NOT WANT TO ASPERATE WHILE IM UNDER ANASTESIA. I HAD THIS COUGH WITH FLUID COMING UP YRS. AGO WHEN I WAS ON LISINOPRIL ONCE STOPPING THE MED IT WENT AWAY. I STOPPED THE COLESTROL MED ZETIA 3 DAYS AGO TO RULE THAT MED CAUSING THE PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN ON VERAPAMIL 180 MG. FOR 4 MONTHS. DOC SAID I NEED THIS MED TO RELAX MY HEART MUSCLE AS I HAVE THICKENING OF THE HEART MUSCLE ON THE LEFT SIDE CAUSED BY HAVING HIGH BP FOR SO MANY YRS. FOR THE LAST 7 YRS. MY ECG"S HAVE BEEN ABNORMAL. ANYONE EXPERIANCING COUGHING UP LIQUID (FLUID) FROM BP MED ?
