Scary increase in BP

Hi

My partner, like me, has high BP (his is worse than mine) He is on 10mg ramapril daily and it is still a tad too high as a rule.

In the last week it has shot up to around 180/110. This worries me a lot more than him!

I have just remembered that about a week ago he had his annual flu vaccination (he suffers from asthma and is Type 2 Diabetic) and I was wondering if there was any chance the increase in Bp might be connected to the flu jab?

He has made a docs appointment but its not til early October.

Thanks for any viewpoints!

I've opted to have a flu jab myself (this evening) so wondering if it is wise for me.
