Hi, I'm on 5 mg ramipril for bp which works but I have dead pain like you but in ankles and feet, I am sure it is caused by ramipril and I have reduced dose to 2.5 mg which I think is helping ease things. Have got appt. with doc. soon so will see maybe if med. can be changed. My pain is not sore but way beyond annoying!!!!

I would discuss with your doctor. There are many choices out there so perhaps a different med would work better. I'm on lisinipryl which so far so good, by my friend had a terrible cough from it. She changed meds and is doing much better. Everyone is different so you have to try until you find one that fits:)

Good luck and many blessings for a healthy heart!

Hi William

I have been on Ramipril for about 8 months & have also just started to get numbness in my thigh which is very annoying. Wasn't sure what was causing it then came across your post. Will make an appointment to see my GP soon.
