Hi

K-Y jelly or any other water based moisturiser.

Speak to your pharmacy.

One way of relieving the discomfort is to wear your cannula pointing up your nose instead of curling downwards for a couple of hours (engineer's tip which works for me). The cannula fits slightly differently and the pressure is therefore relieved. Just be careful not to use anything which has an oil/petroleum base because that presents a fire risk.

If you are using a concentrator ask for a water reservoir which fits in line and keeps the air moist.

Thanks PB I spoke to them this morning and because at the moment my flow rate is under five they don't give them as not enough flow for it to work? But thank-you for that x

I have just had the mother of a cold sore under my nose and I use oxygen a lot but found using a chap stick on it made it clear up very quickly and also when my nostrils get sore I just rub it on them and it makes them calm down ....x
