Oh! Mr. B. You don't deserve this. Please keep fighting. We want to hear you are up and running. Papworth is very good- it's some consolation to know you are in the best place. Thinking of you and Mrs. B. Lots of love, Chris xxx
Oh no...how awful and painful. I hope you will be well looked after and have adequate pain control for your stay. Get well soon MrB. Love and best wishes JJ xxx❤️
Oh my goodness me Mr B, all this wasn’t part of the deal. I’m having trouble keeping up with you travelling around the country in your hosital bed. I’m sure Papworth will sort you out, you being one of there star customers. How are the new lungs working whilst those interlopers are buggering you around? A lot of people are rooting for you here.
Oh no Mr B.. fight and fight some more... My husband was in papworth 13yrs ago and he still lives 🥰. I've been there for tests and like all the hospitals the staff are amazing. I'm sure like them chaps that are walking around England for charity you could start one for hospital hopping 🤔. Get better wishes winging their way towards you xx
Oh no, I was wondering if they'd got on top of that infection. I'm really sorry you had even more pain but very glad that you're in Papworth 5* for the best treatment. Thinking of you and MrsB too
I for one am happy you are in hospital because that infection could have easily ended your life. Post transplant infections are very serious but this is all part and parcel of the transplant world. It might take some time to get rid of it, but you are in the best place at the moment. Sending very best wishes for a smooth recovery. 💐
Mr B - you sure is a fighter. I second everything Cas and others have said. I'm waving your flag and will continue to do so. PS Everyone is saying what an amazing place Liverpool is, entertaining so many people across the world on the Eurovision run up.
Gosh what a roller coaster you are on - more dips at the mo. I wish you well. Hope the transplant is doing well. I’m amazed at your positivity and humour in such a situation. Take care dear friend and fingers crossed for you xx🤗
So sorry to hear all you're going through. Hope the hospital manages to sort you out very soon.
My late husband Bob found after repeated hospital stays that morphine did little for him except cause problems in the strength he needed for it to be effective. Paracetamol worked far better.
Wishing you all the best and hoping you recover soon xx
Sorry to hear this MrB. Have they identified the infection type? This is one of the problems when you have to take immuno suppressants. You are so vulnerable to infections. Hope they get on top of the problem for you. Rooting for you.
So sorry to hear you are having problems after your op. I’m amazed you are up to keeping us posted, it must be such an effort for you at the moment. I really look forward to your updates and hope everything settles down and you will be able to feel the benefit of your new lungs very soon. As everyone is saying, you are in the best possible place at the moment.
Evict the little buggers, not paying rent indeed. Seriously I am glad you are in Papworth they have a very good reputation, get well soon Mr B sending healthy hugs x
I know the feeling I had a procedure at sheffield hospital for my pulmonary hypertension which lead to me having sildenafil initially .But they didnt suit me so I told the specialist who prescribed it as one of the side effects was nasal congestion which i have a great deal of issues with because i have a deviated sceptum I was then prescribed a similar one i think called tildenafil (something like that) & that had the same side effects & that didnt suit me either (I was advised that these medications might not suit everyone) -& that didnt suit me either so Ive been told to stop taking it & the specialist in sheffield said hed have to have another think & get back to me-I have to chase him up
Ive got a Microsoft Teams meeting on 18/5 with the ILD forum so looking forward to that
