Hi mine does it sometimes, but not a great deal. Ask your GP or nurse about it. Let us know how you get on. Love Bernadette 😊 xx

Hi Titchy, Pete wheezes somedays more than others, could be central heating, not moving enough, cold weather etc. If you are unsure then do see your GP, xxxxx

I wheeze when I go to bed and first lay down. It drives me nuts when I'm trying to get to sleep. If I wake in the night, though, there's no wheezing and I'm not wheezy first thing in the morning either. I don't wheeze much in the day.

I don't know if this is from the COPD or asthma or bronchiectasis - I just know it gets on my nerves!

What bronchodilator are you on? Does the wheezing go/improve after Ventolin? Maybe worth seeing your respiratory nurse and explaining it get's on your nerves & interferes with your sleep, maybe get to try a different dilator.

I'd be loath to wait in the surgery at the moment, though, with all these Viruses going round.

Best wishes.

Hi I'm on Ventolin, spirvia, but I'm still wheezy after using them.

Hi I wheeze quite a lot but I do have asthma as well as copd. I never know if it is my asthma or copd which is causing most problems. x

Same here - except I also have bronchiectasis to throw into the pot as well.

I've COPD with elements of Asthma, even when I am well and not needing to take my Ventolin I make a lot of wheezy noises especially at night so moved into the spare room 5 years ago to give my wife some peace.
