I went to the doctors many years ago.

I asked him why I breathed so low

He replied

" An obstructed airways -flow.​

Oh sorry

Back in the day it was called COAD

So wheezy chest was then the norm

Blue and Brown and white

My inhalers colors back in the day.

So what has changed as time has passed.

Well now I have COPD

COAD now in the past.

I have more to pester me these days

But hey I am lucky

I have a wife who helps me through these days.

I also have a garden, full of blooms and palms

So good for me it keeps me calm

And so does art

These days a brush and I are hard to part

Anyway I now know that back in the day

Smoking we thought was OK

Had I not stopped - I may not

Have been here to have my say.

Thank you - Was a water color artist years ago but working in horticulture I never had the time, I started again 3 or 4 years ago, but with Acrylic's this time, they are more forgiving.

Thank you Jean - Yes shame the weathermen got it wrong.. I love to paint, Bunnies for Easter, Spooks and silhouettes for Halloween and others, mostly though planets, waterfalls - That with the garden is what keep me going.
