Well first I would like to say a big thank you to tony and Mandy. My adoptive mum and dad for keeping you all posted on how I'm doing. I'm going to be discharged today. After having my double lung transplant. I can't believe how well I've recovered and now able to do everything of what a 40 year old woman should be doing. My children are amazed that they have there mum back. I was very lucky I was on the list 28 day when my call came. I can't thank my donor family enough for the gift of life they have gave me and my family back. I honestly thought I would die waiting on the list. I intend to now living my life to the full and enjoying every breath I take.
Thank you again to everyone for your kind words xxxxxxxx

That's great news Michelle, I hope you go on to have a long and happy life. What a gift from a family that must be experiencing such sorrow. I carry a donor card, not sure what bits of me are any good, but if I can help anyone when I'm gone, that'll be good.
Keep on keeping on.
Love and hugs,
Christine. XXIX

Michelle All I can do is echo everyone's sentiments and wish you a full and speedy recovery
I'll be put on the transplant list (already had most of the pre-assessment tests as time might be an important factor) if the chemo I am undergoing proves to be easing my issues (not got cancer but chemo is one of the few remaining options )
But I am really pleased that your on the mend and your back with your family.
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on transplant -The good and the bad !!!!
Great news and I'm sure it helps the donor's family come to terms with their loss knowing they have made someones life so much better.
Live life to the full.
