Hospital appointment tomorrow

I have my first appointment with the consultant tomorrow after finding out I have a lung tumour. Very nervous.

Hi Jan

It is understandable that you are nervous. But remember it is another step closer to being helped either by diagnosis or medication or what ever.

So it is progress.

May be try to keep busy today to keep your mind off the appointment.

Have you prepared a list of questions you would like to ask? So many of us have walked away from a health professional wishing we had asked....

So make the most of the time you have with them and don't be afraid to ask if you are unsure of what they said.

Do let us know how you get on. I will be thinking of you.

Your bound to be nervous Jan, it's hard to not be but, try and tell yourself that you'll worry about it tomorrow, not today. Best of luck. xx
