Thought Id let everyone know that last sunday I was taken into hospital & admitted because I had a very bad flare up with my lungs & couldnt stop coughing. My oxygen levels went down to 50s-which is dangerous
I came out last Friday -so 5 days & despite the issue with the beds I was quite well looked after -to get my oxygen levels back up into the 90s -which is normal
I was given antibiotics , steroids & a blood thinner whllst in hospital
It felt good to get out -I was a bit concerned on very early Friday night when my levels were checked -the nurse said it wavered between 94 & 95 so I had to resort to tactics to get out - so I spent ages doing some very deep breathing & it worked because it got it up to 96 (it had to be 95 or above)
My doctor told me I should expect flare ups & I'll just have to come back in & got through the rigmarole of triage A& E til theres a bed free

I'm sorry to hear you haven't been well. I always think when we transition between seasons flare ups are more severe. I hope you feel better soon. Take good care. xx 🍀🌿🌻🌿🍀
That's great but don't get too obsessive about taking your O2. I'd do it once or twice a day and if you feel something is not right. It is so easy to get wrapped up in numbers. And it becomes stressful. Take care. 👍
I'm so sorry to hear about your hospital stay, let's hope you don't have to many and you stay as healthy as possible. It's nice to hear you were out after five days weii done. You have a goodnight and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻💖
