Some neighbours are having a new kitchen so they asked would we like any of the old kitchen cupboards...yes please...and thank you, I said and Himself went to collect one this afternoon...it's nice...has a glass door...there are some others as well that have survived being wrenched off the walls so we might have a couple more to put in the back lobby for storage...
Himself gave Jamie one of those slightly dodgy leather jackets that Italians sell from the backs of vans in the summer-time...I wouldn't let him wear it seeing as how it probably came from some poor bull murdered in a Spanish bull-ring...that's what I told him anyway. Whether it's true or not is immaterial...
I'm such a horrible snob...they have this totally gob-smacking enormous television hanging on the wall of the sitting room...and it's a little old cottage like ours...the volume is always just a little bit too high to hear any conversation...but Wendy only talks about her horses anyway and she's always on the move...darting about all over the place...makes me tired to watch her. I asked her one day if she'd ever considered she might have an over-active thyroid...'I took tablets for that' she announced happily...but I'm better now and don't need them anymore...and her daughter looked at me and raised her eyebrows heavenward...
Just thought...if I were to get a portable nebuliser and a bigger portable oxygen tank I could take the two boys to Dublin to see the bog bodies...I promised them ages ago that we could go. They are Jack and Alex...Irish twins so called, because they were both born in the same year...would it be alright to take them into the ladies loos though...I was a bit worried about letting them go into the gents on their own...especially when we get to Dublin railway station.
I'll ask the Consultant on Tuesday if I can have a bigger tank...the ones I have only last four hours...I could use my travel pass!
Would a bigger tank be heavier to carry or do you use a little suitcase on wheels thingie ? I hope you get that and the portable neb sorted so you can take advantage of your travel pass. The extra cupboards will be handy for storage abd sure you've got rid of the dodgy leather jacket into the bargain, so win win situation. The hens are gorgeous and I loved the photo of sheep and tge doggies all lined up on the sofa.

I bought one of those small suitcases on wheels...to be honest I find the oxygen tanks I have are too heavy to carry far and they are the so-called 'light' ones...
Poor old hens are all gone now...eaten by a couple of mink.
Morning Vashti. Sounds like a good day out,do hope you manage it.As you mentioned going by train,is Dublin a long way from you. Taking two boys out for the day could be very tiring,also carrying Oxygen bottles would be very hard, maybe a shopping trolley would help. Dublin is three hours by train...there's a taxi rank right outside the station though. Himself was so rude about the idea...makes me all the more determined to go actually...

for me - really exhausting, what does himself think of the idea? I'm having my kitchen replaced at the moment the cupboards have already booked their new homes - well, those that aren't falling off the walls.
At the time it seemed a good idea but I just had no idea of the amount of dust everywhere - was definitely
not a good idea but - cough - sneeze - wheeze = I have to live through it! Loved the hens might try to paint them.
