My 84 year old Mum got a positive lateral flow result on Tuesday evening. I advised her to report it. She did so & was told she might be eligible for anti viral medication. On Wednesday a doctor rang her & said she could have the meds but she decided not to have them! grrrrrrr!!! The doctor gave her the hospital phone number incase she changed her mind. By yesterday evening she'd seen sense & rang this morning. Meds plus an oxygen level monitor have since arrived, delivered by courier.
Brilliant service

Hi Littleesk This week I tested positive for COVID-19, I spoke to a doctor yesterday and was offered an antibody treatment called sotrovimab (Xevudy), a solution that will be given to my via a drip into my vein in hospital on Monday for 3 days.
I was told about the antiviral tablets but can't have that because of my poor kidney function ande being on dialysis. Glad your Mum changed her mind, and wish her speedy recovery.
