D-Mannose and urinary frequency?

I have IC but I'm not getting bladder infections anymore. I did for years. But I have frequency which is keeping me from sleeping. I read about D-Mannose. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Would taking D-Mannose have any impact on urinary frequency? It's a stretch, but wondering.
