Hello - has anyone had eye problem after taking Betmiga? I may just have vitreous detachment but it’s left permanent bright streak. A scan at optician just showed some lattice degeneration ( no retina tear) and am waiting to see private consultant. I stopped Betmiga but started again as was getting bladder pain and I think it helps that ( it doesn’t reduce my nocturia and makes insomnia worse). I can’t find anything that says Betmiga has impact on inside of eye?
Thanks

I have taken Tamulosin to lower my prostate PSA count, as well as Betmiga to remedy the most troublesome nocturia, but after two weeks started to have vision problems, with so-called 'auras' dancing all over my field of vision to render me almost blind. I immediately stopped the medications that were not very effective anyway and my vision has improved.
hi Breitie - I do wonder about some drugs. Your eyes sound a bit like migraine. I hope it’s all settled. My eye problems were not due to the betmiga. In end had 3 retinal tears in right eye - glad I had consultant booked as he sent me straight to hospital for two he found to be lasered ( to the hospital that missed them!) . I had recurring problems. 20 trips to nhs hospital plus now paying privately as macular problem in other eye but nhs not interested. It seems to have settled for now which is good. I’ve been lucky. But recently had heart issues and now waiting for endoscopy for oesophageal/ stomach problem which may be causing the heart issues as well as making eating and lying down Uncomfortable. I just want to get my life back and visit friends but looks like am going nowhere for yet another year. Plus most friends lost now as not seen them years. I am lucky I don’t have to go to work or have family to look after I guess! Plus I am lucky I got my prolapse under control. So it’s not all bad. So I must stop moaning 😂
