Hi ladies ....I'm wondering if anyone one here has had a bladder prolapse repair done vaginally ..I'm 5 weeks post op and I'm beginning to wish I had just put up with it like I had for 10 yrs ..I paid private 5 600 as I thought I would sail through it as I'm 62 but quite healthy etc but no such luck first it was my problem urinating and I was retaining urine so had to go bk in as was in agony they had to catheter me to go home then they removed it but still wasn't going properly so another catheter in ..then I started with urine infections had 3 lots of antibiotics they sent it to the hospital they can't identify the strain ..so I'm feeling pretty disappointed as thought I would be well on way to feeling great....I made the mistake of using a mirror to look at my vagina abs stitches omg it looks bloody awful very lumpy etc although I don't think I've looked before so not sure if it was like that lol..honest I feel like crap...is it just my luck or has anyone else had anything similar ..I've done what I've been told as I'm very active but I've been good not overdoing it.....so fed up...🙄😪
