Do trigger foods always cause IC pain?

Hello, I’m trying to discover what my trigger foods are if I have Interstitial Cystitis.

I’m not diagnosed yet but that’s one area doctors are looking at ...

Do any sufferers find that they can eat/drink what they want for a while.. a few weeks even and be okay, then suddenly flare? Or is this unlikely to be IC and possibly another condition if it doesn’t cause bladder / urinating pain straight away or day or two after ?
