Due hip replacement but worried about toilet every hour during night

I have symptoms of UTI - results back from hospital where sample was cultured showing no infection. I am wondering if it’s thrush or bacterial vaginosis - firstly feels I use Canestan for thrush and it’s not thrush will it be harmful as there are warnings about people over 60 using it. Secondly it’s worrying me if after hip operation I will be up for toilet every hour - does anyone know if GP can prescribe medication short term to stop frequency of toilet trips during the night.
