Hi Mel, did you have this done? I was told it was one of my only options for symptom improvement.

Hi Lucy, no not yet, I’m having a consultation in March with the Specialist at Southampton General Hospital

Thank you. I have been told if this doesn’t have any affect they will look at removing my bladder. Not what you want at 36 ☹️

I understand, I am 28 and really live my life as a bit of a slave to my bladder. It isn't as bad as yours having read a couple of your posts but it still controls me. It is awful and very misunderstood, very lonely at times aswell. If you need someone to talk to I am a listening ear x

I had Botox 18months ago but it didn't do anything. I was supposed to have been referred back to one of the top guys in the country about sacral nerve stimulation but I never received a letter and decided to leave it a while as it had all taken its toll on me emotionally. I was told it was that or a big op to remove a bit of my bowel and physically enlarge my bladder. At my age it was not at all what I wanted so for now I am trying to just live with it. Not sure if I will revisit it sometime though as I suffer with so much anxiety and depression as a result. How about you?
