i have again had chest psin in back and in my neck and my left arm wow bingo full house no no prize endured for while then phoned 111 and told them yes you guessed it ambulance but i dint want one went hospital and taken to my hospital of choice put in general population not majors so they think im a fake then they stood and announced no one seen for 7 hours earlyist wow i discharged after arguement of abnormal ecg went home my gp has made enqiyries to mental health team sorry boring words i have had enough im 76 yts young and knackerd

Yes you are knackered because of your health. When was the last time you saw a cardiologist or had ECG or echocardiogram? Are you on heart medication? If not ask your GP for a referral to see a cardiologist . Plus ask your GP for a full blood test including a fasting cholesterol test . At 76 did you have your full health revenue at 75 ? And as a man have you had your prostate checked regularly. And do you do your bowel cancer screening test . Which you should have had at 60 then every 2 years . If not then you need them doing .

I know not all healthcare is the same all over the country. It wasn't until I moved over 100 miles to the north west of England I finally got the healthcare I had been denied . Because of my new GP he sent me to see a cardiologist and neurologist. My whole life changed found out the 2 things I had been born with and on medication for both. I have never had such good healthcare. But even before my move had my mammogram from when I was 50 then every 3 years ,smears and bowel cancer testing kit and yearly health review.

But to be honest if I still lived where I did I don't think I would a alive today . I should have been on heart medication for decades but my old GP never sent me to a cardiologist and my neurologist could have done the test my new one did and put me on the medication which has helped me but didn't. But at least I am getting the help I needed now . I am 66.

I am seeing cardiology next week for tests yes had angiogram small arteries blocked on half a tablet of heart med gives me bad headaches but i live in hope of this geeting better yes had cancer screening done all tests dont have it thanks for yout message

Tell your cardiologist the tablet gives you headaches and they should change it to something else. I take Ramipril for blood pressure, Flecainide for my heart I was born with a small hole in the side of it and miss heart beats ,have heart flutters and palpitations occasionally. But they don't last long and the Flecainide has helped at lot . Apixaban to prevent blood clots. Recently started Atorvastatin after my week stay in hospital in January after an angiography found slight furring in my right artery . Plus other medication for my neurological condition. Had no side effects from anything but have to have regular blood tests every 6 months. I have a GT spray as I do get out of breathless at times but only use it if I can't get my breathing under control.

I will ask i have a problem my heart misses beats at times and has stopped before i was in hospital on heart monitor and it did they all came running with crash cart slarms were going but it started on its own in seconds ot has happend few times but i have given up to be honest has been going on so long now i feel ignored or think they feel i have to long so i stopped going hospitald drs gps but i will go next week to see thank youfor advice

That happened to me lot of times once on ECG machine my heart was back in rhythm. Until August 2021 when I was at the hospital by 6am and in Afib the nurse did it twice and told me not to move . Then on resus ward all day wired up. Then got referred to AF clinic . I have PAF. I have had 24 hour monitor on at home and they caught the missed beats.

glad they caught it i was put on a reveal device fitted in my chest but each time gor chest pain had to aend message i could not get on with it so after year battery went i had it removed supposed had pavemaker never got ih well

Did you manage to talk to the BHF cardiac nurses to see if they could offer any suggestions?

At least summer looks like it is on its way.

Yea sun is bright spring is my season love flowers comming up and the roses in bud but i an out at hospital and next week cardio first time fpr ages wont hold my breath for news ir treatment

I am in my living room as usual resting i have cardiology next week not looking forward to more rejection am i boring haha just how i feel now been rejected so much at my age. I just feel despondent hope your life is better

Are there any "clubs" that you can go to in your area to take your mind off things? They are not well advertised but I know that there is an afternoon snooker club and a wood worker charity club near me (not been to either but maybe in the future)

I dont go out because idont feel well but i hope soon things may change i am a graphic designer and many other trades i can make anything but due to how i feel i realy dont have the energy at moment wbut thsno you for thinking of me i am going on a train journey tomorrow for a few hours looking forwrd to that have great day and night
