hi i had my first cardiac event in 2009 and have had 3 more since .. 3 angiograms which showed nothing .. troponin levels 85 numerous ecgs and even a bubble test as they were convinced there should be some damage all to no avail .blood pressure runs at average of 185/120 despite 8 diff meds that have been swapped and changed so many times .. regular daily bouts of palpitations.. does this all never end ??? even my gp joked i should leave my body to medical science as most peoples arteries cant run on such high pressures for so long ...

I had 4 CABGs before stents were in wide use. I recommend that you watch the film "Forks Over Knives". It is on Netflix and YouTube. It is about global medical heart research and the findings, including a massive study of 800,000 Chinese people. You might find it helpful, I did.

I have been on a Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) diet since March and the evidence of my blood pressure (117/70), cholesterol (2.7) and pulse (50-60) indicate that my arteries are cleared. So, it has taken only 6 months. My doctor is gradually taking me off all the meds.
