I was just wondering if any of you have had a Myocardial scan, if so what was the outcome ?

myocardial perfusion scan
Yes, I had both the stress and the rest myocardial perfusion scans in August 2023. I found some of it interesting and all the waiting very boring. It took 7 months to get any results. After emailing my cardiologists secretary, and having to explain when and where I'd had the scans done and who had ordered them I had an appointment to attend clinic quite quickly. Naturally I thought this was to discuss the results. I actually saw an arrthythmia nurse and had to dig out nuggets of information with a verbal pickaxe. For such a time consuming scan it didn't seem that the results offered any more insight than an echo would.
I stress that this was just my personal experience, and I would still do it again if it was suggested, because it has the potential to tell them a lot, but it seems that I've been unfortunate with all my tests, that the results go missing for months on end, etc.
I have had one. It didn't show up anything eg microvascular dysfunction but they reported they couldn't see everything because of my LBBB.
I had one done 2years ago, 1st a stress test then back for the Scan. It is a very useful in-depth test - they told me I had bigeminy which I had never heard of before but cardiologist not concerned. We are fortunate to have these tests available & as said previously it's the waiting around that takes a while.
